The spring season amongst the rolling hills in the Tuscan region of Italy. The towns of Pienza, San Gimignano, Siena and Florence did not disappoint. The atmospheric layers in the valleys and skyline amongst the historical architecture and agriculture was very uplifting. As was the layers of flavours in the cuisine and wine of Tuscany.
The five lands “Cinque Terre” and Tuscany's rolling hills are just a few examples of Italy's magnificent scenery. Home to a wealth of historical and artistic treasures, with landmarks dating back before the renaissance period found in cities such as Florence, and Venice renowned for their architectural marvels.
